The SGG Guide: Grillz & Jewelry Guides
Buying and care guides for custom gold grillz, chains, rings and fine jewelry — written by the Seattle Gold Grills family, jewelers since 1976. Call or text 206-250-0833.
The SGG Guide is where the Seattle Gold Grills family writes down what it has learned at the bench since 1976. The shop is based in Renton, Washington, serves Seattle, Renton and the Puget Sound area, and the guides here are written for buyers rather than for search engines: how grillz are actually made, how gold is priced, and what to check before you spend.
Start With These Guides
- How much do custom grillz cost: what drives the number, from tooth count to metal to stones.
- Types of gold chains: rope, Cuban, Figaro, Franco and box links compared.
- Design your own engagement ring: setting, metal and stone decisions in order.
- How to clean gold jewelry: a routine that does not damage a finish.
- Gold bracelets style guide: how length and link change a look.
How to Use the Guide
Read the guide that matches the purchase in front of you, then check the collection it points to. Price questions are answered by the listing, not by the article, because gold moves and the guides do not chase it. Chains and bracelets are priced by weight at the current gold market, so the price on each listing updates with the gold price.
Ask the Family Directly
If a guide does not cover your question, ask. Design work happens in the Grillz Builder and the Chain and Pendant Builder, and fittings happen at the Renton showroom. Book an appointment when you are ready to see pieces in person.
