How to Clean & Care for Your Grillz

Custom grillz are an investment — solid gold, sterling silver and hand-set stones fitted to your exact impression. A few minutes of care keeps your set shining for decades. This guide covers cleaning, wearing and storage for every material we sell.

Cleaning Your Grillz

Solid gold and silver grillz (plain or polished): rinse with warm water and clean gently with a soft toothbrush and mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly and dry with a microfiber cloth. For sterling silver, a jewelry polishing cloth removes light tarnish.

Stone-set, moissanite and Diamond Dust grillz: use products suitable for your specific metal and stones, then rinse and dry thoroughly. Skip abrasive pastes and ultrasonic cleaners — they can loosen settings and dull finishes.

Never use: bleach, ammonia, baking soda scrubbing, or hot boiling water.

Wearing & Handling

• Remove your grillz before eating and drinking anything other than water
• Take them out before sleeping, sports and any contact activity
• Never force a set on — if it doesn't slide on smoothly, it needs adjusting, not pushing
• Your set is custom jewelry, not a dental device; it should never cause pain or pressure

Storage & Maintenance

Store your grillz in the case they shipped in, away from moisture and direct sunlight. Keep the box your order arrived in — it protects the setting. Bring worn or loose sets to our Renton shop: we offer cleaning, repairs and after-care service in store, or book an appointment.
