Fred Bennett Sr. opened Fred Bennett Creations at Westlake Mall in Seattle in February 1976. The September 1981 issue of EBONY documented him and the downtown Seattle jewelry business five years into its history. February 2026 marked exactly 50 years since the first store opened. Today, Fred Bennett Jr. represents the second generation and Fred Bennett III (JoJo) works alongside him as the third.
