How to Order Custom Grillz Online (Step-by-Step Guide)

Thinking about ordering grillz but not sure how it works?

Good news — you don’t have to be in Seattle to get a custom set.

We work with clients nationwide using our mold kit system, and the process is simple when done correctly.

Here’s exactly how to order custom grillz online step-by-step.

STEP 1: PLACE YOUR ORDER

Start by choosing:
- Number of teeth (top, bottom, or both)
- Material (moissanite, gold, or diamond)
- Style or custom design

Once your order is placed, we prepare your mold kit.

STEP 2: RECEIVE YOUR MOLD KIT

Your mold kit will be shipped directly to you.

Inside the kit:
- Impression trays  
- Molding material  
- Instructions for both steps  

We also provide video guidance to help you through the process.

STEP 3: COMPLETE YOUR IMPRESSIONS (VERY IMPORTANT)

This is the most important part of the entire process.

You will complete:
- Step 1: Outline of your teeth  
- Step 2: Detail impression (for perfect fit)  

Do not skip Step 2.

A proper impression ensures:
- Comfort  
- Secure fit  
- Clean final result  

STEP 4: SEND YOUR MOLDS BACK

Once your impressions are complete:
- Use the return label provided  
- Ship your molds back to us  

We recommend double-checking your impressions before sending.

STEP 5: PRODUCTION BEGINS

Once we receive your molds:
- Your custom grillz go into production  
- Each set is built specifically for your teeth  

Production time depends on your design. Plain/polished grillz and diamond or moissanite grillz have different production requirements; stone-set designs require additional setting work. Confirm the estimated production time for your selected design before ordering, especially if you have an event deadline.

Production begins after we receive acceptable impressions and all required order information, design approvals and payment. Mold-kit transit and shipping of the finished grillz are separate from production. See our Shipping Policy for processing and shipping details.

STEP 6: DELIVERY

Once your grillz are complete:
- We ship directly to your door  
- Tracking is provided  

Carrier transit time depends on the shipping service selected at checkout and begins after production is complete. See our Shipping Policy.

DENTIST MOLDS (OPTIONAL)

For the most accurate fit, you can also:

- Visit a local dentist  
- Request upper and lower impressions  
- Send them directly to us  

This is a great option for clients who want maximum precision.

COMMON MISTAKES TO AVOID

- Skipping Step 2 impressions  
- Rushing the mold process  
- Not checking fit before sending back  

Taking your time here ensures the best final result.

TURNAROUND TIME SUMMARY

Allow separate time for receiving and returning your mold kit, production of your selected design, and shipping of the finished order. Shipping choices and transit estimates are shown at checkout. Faster shipping does not shorten production.
